Since cooking oils can be used to make a variety of foods, including meat, eggs, vegetables, sauces, and some grain dishes, it simply translates that nearly everyone use vegetable oil on a daily basis.
Again, people frequently concentrate on how to select healthy oil. However, not many do a great job with that, now enters PZ Wilmar with its latest Devon King’s low fat oil, just to make it easy for Nigerians to choose the healthy cooking oil if only to take good care of their heart.
This is due to the fact that different cooking oils have different smoke points, or temperatures at which they become unstable. Cooking oils shouldn’t be used when the temperature is higher than their smoke point, for instance. PZ Wilmar, the producer of Devon King’s Oil, had to go ahead to introduce its Low-Fat Spread into the Nigerian market as part of its commitment to promote a nutritious lifestyle among its customers.
A statement by the firm said the company would continue to prioritise areas such as easy accessibility and affordability of its products.
It added that the Devon King’s Low-Fat Spread has been produced, and distributed in various economical packs to meet the needs of various social classes, despite urbanisation, rapid increase in population, indulgence and a growing number of confectionery establishments emerging across the country.
Head of Marketing, PZ Wilmar, Chioma Mbanugo, said, “At Devon King’s, our purpose is to keep consumers healthy and happy with great tasting, nutritious products, enriched with vitamins and provide consumers with incredible creaminess, building on the excellent taste that binds.
Now, we are excited to launch a new member into the Devon King’s family, the Devon King’s Low-Fat Spread which comes in a creamy texture and gives that yummy buttery taste for a delightful breakfast and bites like bread, Biscuits, crackers and snacks.” Chioma said
