House of Representatives says it is considering a bill that will allow candidates for tertiary education admission use the result earlier obtained for subsequent application.
The law is expected to change the Nigerian education consumer space, particularly because it will remove the financial burden of procuring fresh application forms during subsequent attempt.
The bill, sponsored by Hon. Tolu Sodipe, will eliminate the need for such candidates to sit for the same examinations again.
The amendment is contained in “The A Bill for an Act to Amend the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Act; and for Related Matters”, which has just passed second reading.
