Eko DisCo has explained why power supply to its customers in the Ajah and Ibeju areas of Lagos metropolis is inadequate.
Dr. Tinuade Sanda, the managing director and chief executive officer of Eko Disco, attributed the problem to infrastructure challenges and insufficient power allocation by the Transmission Corporation of Nigeria (TCN) to it.
TCN is the body saddled with generating power within the Nigerian energy sector supply chain.
Sanda, through her stand-in Joseph Esenwa, assured dissatisfied customers in the area that they were optimistic a Central Bank of Nigeria loan intervention would address the infrastructure challenge and help the company improve on its services to end-users.
