Ikeja Electric says it is upgrading its Customers Information System (CIS) and the process would last 48 hours, begining from July 15-17th.
During this time, the distribution company says collection of meter data (including meter reading, energy consumption) would be impossible.
Also to be affected are the company’s payment channels. This means that customers willing to recharge their energy credits will not be able to do so while the upgrade lasts.
Equally, the company will be unable to access customer account information (that is, enquiries about balance, address, vending will be impossible).
All data information for IE mobile app functionality would not be available.
Moreover, the company says that upon completing its information system upgrade, customers will have seamless access to their account information, easy vending among others.
