Marketsquare, a retail goods chain, has berthed at the Purplemaryland, Lagos. This follows the exit of Shoprite –the South African retail store–from the mall.
Marketsquare describes itself as “Nigeria’s emerging grocery retail chain”. The store boasts of being “a place where Nigerians can go to find their trusted brands of groceries at the best prices”. The store also offers everyday consumer needs.
Marketsquare is a member of the Sundry Group.
According to its statement, Purplemaryland said, “The opening will allow customers access to a variety of bakery, groceries household, office and personal care products from trusted domestic and international brands at the best prices. “The grocery retailer is a trusted and dependable strong partner delivering a modern and relevant retail shopping experience for Nigerians and a more convenient way for people to get their everyday needs.”
